Overview

The Sand Lake Area Property Owners’ Association was originally incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 1958 as the Proudfoot Township Property Owners’ Association. In 2009 the Association was restructured with a new name and logo to better identify the geographic area represented.
The Association is effective at disseminating relevant information to members and representing their interests to local governments.
The association also runs community events such as the Sand Lake Regatta and the Sailing Regatta to bring people together in a social setting. Checkout the PDF link below for our Introduction to SLAPOA Membership.

The Association, also known as SLAPOA is organised in a Board and Committee structure. Board members are unpaid volunteers elected by the Membership at our Annual General Meeting, AGM which usually is held mid August at Sand Lake.
