Emerald Island (the big island) is an ideal destination for a picnic, a swim or just a chance to see the lake from a different perspective. The flag is raised on the island on Canada Day and taken down at the end of the summer. We ask that visitors use the property at their own risk and leave no trace of their visit. No camping is allowed
